FAQ

To preform a drone show in Belgium or the EU we need a permit from the relevant aviation authority. We are the first Belgian drone show company that has an operating permit in the category “specific” so we can act quickly.

For the design process we need a minimum of x weeks/days depending on the size and the complexity.

We recommend that you inquire as soon as possible from the moment you are considering a drone show for your event.

We preform shows in Belgium, EU and beyond. We are committed to making everything possible and have already gained successful experience in other EU countries. With aviation laws harmonized across Europe, we can easily carry out drone shows in other member states using our existing permit.

Unfortunately, we cannot provide a definitive answer, as it depends on the number of drones and the altitude of the show.

At a minimum, we require an area where no unauthorized persons are allowed – this area must be secured for at least the duration of the show. This space acts as a safety buffer, as mandated by the aviation authority for worst-case scenarios.

This is hard to say because it depends. Like how many drones and the complexity of the show.

The number of drones used in our drone shows can vary depending on the scale and complexity of the performance. For smaller shows we can fly 50 to 100 drones, while larger shows, such as those seen at major events or festivals, can we provide from 200 to 1,000 drones or even more.

The duration of a drone show is usually about 15 minutes. But this varies from show to show.

A drone show is safe:

The drones weigh only about 300 grams. A carefully calculated safety zone beneath the flight area and in the surrounding region ensures that, in the unlikely event of a crash, no harm will come to people, animals, or objects.

With multiple redundant electronic safety systems—both automatic and manual—our pilots ensure the safety of the ground area and other aircraft in the sky.

We are able to integrate the drones whit a lot of extra elements. Think of music, lasers, fireworks and much more. By using the right equipment and controls such as time code, all of this can flow together seamlessly.

No! 1 pilot operates the ground Control Station in cooperation with the second pilot and observers on the field. So how does it work in a nutshell:
All drones get their show onboard and will act as an individual part in the show but they remain in contact with the central groundstation.
There’s a constant monitoring of each drone when the’re airborne.

Yes, they both run on a different system. Outdoor drones use GPS for positioning. Indoor drones need a unique positioning system.
